65 Stock Car (Circa 1910-16) | |||||||||||||||
Circa 1912 - First version of the 8 wheel stock car, it has white wood grain litho with red and black trim. The roof is lithographed with black stripes and red catwalk. The frame is flat with T Trucks. Below is what this stock car looked like when sold separately in its original box.
Circa 1910-11 - another variation - this one has gray wood grained litho with BLUE and white details Even more unusual is this the roof on this stock car, it appears to be stamped from the litho stock used for some of the No. 115 stations This one has a lithographed cream roof. The example above is from 1912, but as Ives was known to do this one has caboose doors.Below is one from 1912 with the correct doors and litho roof. |
