Circa 1918-1924 - Deeper red, almost maroon, white lettering, gray roof.

Circa 1925-1928 - Brighter red with all red roof, white lettering.

Probably 1928 or 1929 because of yellow lettering.

Circa 1929-1930 - Bright red with yellow lettering, operating door, red roof with peacock cupola roof.

Circa 1930 - Number on this one is 562. It uses a Lionel body with an Ives frame. Yellow window inserts with red roof and peacock cupola.

Rare rubber stamped version Circa 1928 - similar to 8 wheel version

This caboose looks suspiciously like someone has switched bodies.  Note the color of the roof and window inserts, but it's not impossible that this is original. The example below appears to be 100% Lionel except for the plates?
