No. 118 Platform    (Circa 1905-12)

Circa 1905-1906 - Not much to look for on these, the early green posts on this might indicated earlier production than some of the rest, very late 118s have no STATION sign, but all 118s are rare and rarely look exactly alike. Below are pictures of several we've found, just enjoy the pictures.

Early post platforms usually have the signs 'pinned' in. Later longer platforms may have the bigger etched plate with tabs that fit into slots on the roof. The 1911 and 1912 catalogs show all the platforms with no signs at all. The above 118 shown above is the only platform of any kind that we've located that never had the sign. The roof on this one has no slots or holes punched into it for pins. Note also the base has the little "The Ives Miniature Railway System" plate which also notes late production.
