Syndicate Trading Specials

We don't know which Syndicate it was and we don't know what they were trading, but we do know that IVES sold at least six distinct sets that were labeled "Syndicate Trading Special" or "Syndicate Special". Below are the five we've been able to verify through original boxes. The sets usually contain intricate layouts and at least both the mechanical sets that we've been able to verify contained a small station and other small track accessories.

Syndicate Trading Special No. 3

Engine not cataloged in Orange in 1930, passenger cars have 1929-30 solid frames. Picture of box below looks like Wide gauge box - this came with lots of track, station, switches and misc. Accessories - we've never seen one that still had original set intact in original box, to give exact contents.
