60 Series Passenger Cars    (Circa 1929-30)

No. 62  Parlor Car

Cataloged only in 1929, this light blue lithographed 62 Parlor came in two different sets and was sold separately. Ives never made a baggage to go with these sets, the three car sets came with two 62s and the 68 observation. Below is the same car with an unusual blue roof.

No. 68 Observation Car

Circa 1929. Note all these cars came with journals on the trucks and some came with a more rounded American Flyer roof

1930 Uncataloged Cars

Numbered as a 552, basically this car has the body from a 552 Yankee Clipper on a 8 wheel frame and a light blue roof, identical to the 62 Parlor car shown above.  This 552/62 car was part of a three car Syndicate Trading Special #2 pulled by a light blue 3260.

Another 1930 special set  this 558 / 68 car was a Blue Vagabond car on a blue 8 wheel frame with red journal trucks.  This set came with the No. 550 8 wheel baggage below and the similar 551 Chair Car bottom

Early body, but journal trucks and a blue AF roof that pretty much dates this car to 1930.
