The earliest variation of the 3254 came in medium red with a cast iron frame. This one is circa 1925-26

Made in 1926 only with a single set this tan or buff colored 3254 is one of the harder ones to find.

The 1927 version of this locomotive came in orange to match the 129-130 series cars that it came with.

In 1928 the 3254 locomotive came with both a rare passenger set and a rare freight set. The frame was now die-cast and the color of the cab was cardinal red.

Although not cataloged in either 1929 or 1930, the 3254 was sold with several freight sets, note the lighter color orange and the die-cast frame.
