Earliest variation: all red with red trim on windows and vents with red pilots. The model below has black trim, black pilots and hook couplers. The version below is similar to the one above but with automatic couplers.
This example has the darker red (maroon) color with red window trim, black pilots with red trim and the roof trim is red/gold. The version above has what appears to be orange paint on the trim with black pilots and automatic couplers. Although rubber stamped versions of this locomotive are always black, this is the only black one we've seen with raised lettering from the collection of Richard Roeder of Houston |
