No 1100    (Circa 1914-24)

Circa 1914-15 with straight boiler, two boiler bands and rubber stamped lettering.

Circa 1915 - one boiler band, straight boiler and straight drive rod.

Circa 1917 (4th Series) note addition of front headlight, tapered boiler and round top window

Circa 1919-1920 - note the different drive wheels and the straight drive rod

The last year the No. 1100 was shown in the catalog was 1924. The example above has all the trim painted gold (similar to an 1120 from 1928) and even came with a No. 25 tender that wasn't made until 1928? Was this another example of Ives trying to fill orders before they got shipment of new pieces in 1928?
