No 5    (Circa 1913-16)
Ives started rubber stamping in 1913 with new numbers.

This one probably dates to 1913 with the six spoke drive wheels, rivet detail,  single window. Below is a similar variation with the boiler band

Early number 5 with the appropiate tender

This one is marked 1915, double window and tin wheels.

Unusual clockwork for this engine

We're not sure what to make of this, it's an early No. 5 cab with single window rubber stamped in gold. The odd part is that it has a reverse bicycle clockwork mechanism usually associated with 1908 or 1909. The motor plate has a 1911 Patent date and the screw holes are drilled in the right places.

This one is Circa 1914-15, note 10 spoke die cast wheels and single window.

Circa 1916 - Note double window.

Always confusing - here's one with double windows and an early (6 spoke) motor.
