64  Box Car    (Circa 1908-09)

Circa 1908-09 - never shown in any catalog, these early cars were listed in Price list for 1909. The example above appears to be an early version with full hatched frame (Type IV), red/black candy striped roof, butterscotch/cream striped door, had brake wheel but missing. The car below would be later with its plain frame and green roof.

Early 64 with a somewhat later door with it's original box.

Circa 1910 - The car above is white and although not in great shape still shows the floor train number of 164. This car also shows late features for the 4 wheel variation in that it has a green painted roof and plain frame. This car had been painted black at one point, but we're not sure it was done by IVES.

Circa 1909 or later, red litho, green roof, plain frame Type V.
