These cars have been grouped together by construction differences, these cars are very difficult to differentiate and basically are grouped here by looking at the trucks. The trucks on these cars have more detail than the 1923 group but less than the 1918. Note that all these cars have couplers that still maintain the earlier hole used when these couplers were riveted to the frame.  Note that some of these cars are starting to show up with the 'halo lettering', look closely at the different lettering between the two C&NW cars below, also note the difference in lettering on the two Pennsylvania Cars, the earlier version appears to have some 'halo lettering' but the later version is more pronounced.
