127  Stock Car    (Circa 1904-1909)

Circa 1904-1909 - The stock car above and below are both the light yellow or brown litho with darker brown/gold detail. The car above has the red/black candy stripe roof, the car below has the butterscotch striped roof.

Another early 127, this one has the two brake wheels on either side - see side view below.

The cars with brakewheels are later, at least they were shown in the 1908 catalog and not in the 1906 catalog.

Off white with blue lettering 127 Stock car, also notice that the door handle on the car above and below appears to be on the 2nd slat. This car would appear to never have had a brake wheel, we don't know if that is a significant factor in it's age or not.

Here's a brown one with a blue/white door. Ives was famous for just using whatever they had.

Blue gray litho with yellow door. Roof on this one is gold gilt with black stripes.

Very unusual car has pre-1910 body with T-Trucks (supposedly first used in 1910), other early cars with T-Trucks are known to exist. Note the brake wheel.
