Here's a car reported to be Ives attempt to add brakewheels to the cars in 1929. The car is also unusual in that it has a Lionel frame with snake pulls but the trucks have no journals. Below is a close up of the brakewheel.
Another unusual car with red trucks, like those used on the Black Diamond. The trucks are held on by a gold cotter pin. We believe this is original as we've seen a couple passenger cars with these same trucks.
