Circa 1910-1912 - Looks very much like a 2nd series No. 40

Circa 1910-1912 - No. 40 tender for 1 gauge floor toy.

Same size as a No. 25 this came with either Philadelphia style 'inboard' passnger cars or 9 inch freight cars although we've never seen the later.

Similar to a No. 17 in size came with  the LVE tender shown, this locomotive was sold with Princess-type passenger cars or 6" freight cars

The smallest of the floor train locomotives was sold with 50 series cars, below is the tender that goes with the small floor locomotive. The tender can be found with both smooth sides as this one does or embossed.
