The No. 1009 Submarine came only in one size and the structure didn't change over the 8 years it was cataloged. Note that the example above is a dark green and has no railing around the top. The examples below are battleship gray and have a railing

This is an early version of the sub - note the brass periscope that came with this one. The catalog showed a periscope but we have been unable to verify if this is original.
