This set is probably late in 1927, note that this is a 3255 (no R) on a steel frame, the box below has just the 'slide in' cardboard dividers which are usually missing out of most of these sets found today.

Set 503R from 1927, this set came with the conductors outfit which included the hat, badges, tickets and punch.
