Inside Out Boxed Sets
We're not sure when theses were sold, but everything in them is usually considered 1928. These were probably specials sold by Lionel to get rid of old IVES stock. The unique thing is that the box is a 1928 IVES box which has been assembled inside out, so you can't see the Ives name when sitting on some store shelf. These sets vary, almost always coming with a 3254 in either red or orange and freight cars - we've seen them with a multitude of different freight cars. |
Just a normal ives box that has been assembled with all the printing on the inside.
