No number plates, tapered boiler, 0-4-0 wheel arrangement, 4 boiler bands Two No. 17s from 1905-1906 - Look closely below the cab window - the red band on the loco on the right ends right below the window strut. The one on the left - the band extends past the window. The one on the left also has a large weight inside the cab (see below). The version on the left is probably the more common. The one on the right is probably the earlier version as it matches the 2nd series No. 11/17 casting. |
