The common theme for the years 1910 to 1912 is no embossing on the frame. The 1910-1911 versions have hook couplers, the 1912 versions should have automatic couplers. IVES cataloged three different freight sets during this period, the tank car was the only one that wasn't listed in a cataloged set. Circa 1910-11 - T Trucks, non-embossed frame and hook couplers. Color is dark green. Circa 1912-13 - T trucks, non-embossed frame and automatic couplers. Color is light green
Circa 1910-1911 - This car should have a lithographed roof but other early features include non-embossed frame, shellacked T-Trucks, hook couplers and inside door frames. Circa 1912 - Litho roof with inside door frames, non-embossed frame, T-Trucks and automatic couplers. Circa 1912 - First version of the 8 wheel stock car, it has white wood grain litho with red and black trim. The roof is lithographed with black stripes and red catwalk. The frame is flat with T Trucks. Circa 1912 - another variation - this one has gray wood grained litho with BLUE and white details Circa 1910-11 - tank is gray with black details. It has early shellacked T trucks, hook couplers. blue cap and ends Circa 1910-11 - Plain non-embossed frame with T trucks and hook coupler. Tank is red litho with black lettering. cap is green (also comes in blue) ends are blue. Circa 1912 - Cream with butterscotch details, green cap and red ends. Non-embossed green frame with automatic couplers and T Trucks. Circa 1910-11 - T-trucks, non-embossed frame, hook couplers, green base with red stakes.
