Variation / Error - the frame on this stock is inside out.

Deeper orange variation.

Circa 1928-1930 - Later orange litho with red roof and working DOOR. Red roofs and doors may have been used as early as Christmas 1928, but have been positively identified with 1929 sets, although as with all Ives you will still find early cars in later sets. 

Circa 1928-1930 - Here's an example of a yellow car with a red roof and an orange door. Based on other examples found it would appear Ives still had yellow bodies left over, but not enough yellow doors to go with them, so they used either plain yellow or the orange litho doors.
