No 1132 0-4-0    (1921-1926, 1928)
Early 1921-1923

Circa 1921-1924 - No 1132 cast iron locomotive.

This example has a maroon roof that matches the trim paint on the cab and wheels.

The four pictures above show the different perspectives of the 1132.

Motor for 1132 circa 1923.

Circa 1925-1926 - No. 1132 locomotive in tan, below is a closeup of the tender and cab lettering. Most tan 1132s appear to be late (1926) and are harder to find than the black ones.

No. 40 tender found with the tan locomotive - circa 1926

White with gold highlights

The only known white 1132. Based on the passenger cars that came with this engine, it would appear to have been made around 1922-1923.

Circa 1930 - This 4-4-0 which looks identical to the green 1134 from 1927 and of course has the 1132 number under the cab. It used to be thought that this engine was made in 1928 because the new 1134 wasn't ready yet, but based on original sets and motor characteristics it appears this engine was used in Special sets during 1930 or maybe 1929.

Motor from early 1928 No. 1132, note the wide motor with the Ives MFG Corp plate.

?? = We're not sure where to put this one. The body is an 1132, the number under the cab says 1134R, the pilot appears to be off an 1129 one gauge locomotive. No explanation, but this did come from the original owner and was found with two BLACK 185, 186 cars.

TENDERS

Circa 1921-1924 -  No. 40 tender that came with the black 1132. The lettering on the tender above is somewhat different (style) than the one below.

Circa 1924 - When IVES made up some 1132s for John Wanamaker and Co. There was no special markings on the engine, only the Wanamaker script at the top of the tender where it normally read IVES.

We're not sure where to put this. It has the same markings as the green tender that came with the President Washington Loco, but that one was green. We would assume that makes this tender somewhere around 1927. The 4-4-0 1132 comes with the new die-cast tender in 1928 and we haven't seen a black 'President Washington' engine.
