Circa 1921 - Dark brown. "PENNA. R.R." lettering below door
Circa 1922-23 - Medium brown with light brown roof. "P.R.R." lettering below door.
Circa 1923 - Light brown. Nickel wheels - NO stamping under door. Below is one pictured with its original box.
Circa 1923-1924 - Light brown with maroon roof. Circa 1922-24 - Red Brown
Circa 1924 - Special made for Wanamaker Dept Stores in 1924 only
Circa 1926-1927 - Green with light brown roof, silver rubber stamping, journal trucks held on by hollow rivet. Circa 1926-1927 - Same as above except body and roof painted light green. Circa 1928 Circus Stock - 1928 stock car with snake pull couplers. This one was made for the Circus set and is even more unique in that it is rubber stamped "R.R. SHOW" on the right hand side. Circa 1928-1929 - American flyer body, numbered 20-193, light green with red roof. Circa 1928-1929 - American flyer body, numbered 20-193, orange with red roof, the car below is identical except it has a yellow (Circus Car type) body. Note the difference in the snake pull couplers on the flyer bodied cars compared to the Lionel bodied car below. This occurred on all the freight cars.
